O.K. So as my Mrs didn't like being a BMX Widow she decided to fook off last year,  so come Christmas rather than spending time at her parents & doing the usual (Family stuff) it left me with a load of time for building bikes (BONUS)  ;):LolLolLolLol:

So just before Christmas knowing id have some extra (bike time)  & amongst other stuff  I bought an Aero Reflex off on eBay as I always fancied having a look at these.

I built it up pretty quickly & was really happy with the way it came together... So much so I decided to buy another NOS Frameset from Mark at retrospect in early Jan a & I decided to do a second build (this one)

The Reflex crowd on the Facebook page are really open to custom builds & colour ways & decals etc..,. Many of them have come out with some fantastic builds so far & I wanted to do the same.

I'd picked up a set of NOS pads off of eBay & wanted to base my build (and decals) around these & so got to work..

The Bike is a collection of NOS Parts & Parts that Ive found & refurbished & Painted myself... (Love a refurb).....

These refurbished parts include:

Aero Zytec Wheels (Bought form Bendy) these needed stripping back sanding down & re dying plus the addition of some new shiny Wheel nuts.

Also a Tange SC-2 Seat clamp   SR Aerox-M Stem  Tange LP-440 Head Lock  &  a Tange FC-1 Spider all needed qhite a bit of work & i'm really please with how they came out , they all got similar treatment the the FC-1 Spider below.

All other parts are pretty much NOS apart from the New Skyway bars which i stole from my first reflex build (as It's already getting a dramatic makeover) .. Also the Victor VP747 Pedals are NOS (loved these as a kid) but they were originally red but i also managed to find some nos Blue cages & swapped them over..

I sat down & after sending some rough artwork to Del he did an amazing job on making up a custom set of decals for the ride to match the Original Pad set decals which i think are just amazing.

Anyway this is how it turned out.. I've still got a couple of blue chain rings on the way so this might change but I'm really happy with it so far.

NOS1984  Aero Reflex F&F
New Skyway Pro Bars
NOS Shimano DX Levers
NOS ODI Mushroom II Greg Hill Signature edition Grips.
NOS Aero Padset
NOS Viscount Aero Seat
Refurbished SR Aerox-M Stem
Refutbished Tange LP-440 Head Lock
Regurbished Tange SC-2 Seat Clamp
Refurbished Tange / Tioga FC-1 Spider
NOS MCS Chainring / Blu Anodised Bolts
