Hello All, as a 42 year old I didn't dream I might be able to get my old love back, but maybe I was wrong.....
Back in the early 80's my dad stretched himself to his financial limit and bought me a shinny BMX.
Now Guys I'm not afraid to admit that I loved that bike like it was a puppy!
But all these years on I have only vague memory's of what that lovely chrome and black bike was so I'm hoping you guys might be able to work some magic and help me out!
So here is what I remember....
The bike was bought around 84, was a complete bike but wheels where changed from standard issue to black plastic wheels that supposedly would bend and then bend back again.
The frame and forks where chrome and she had various black bits. The only thing I can remember about the bike is it had superfox, I think, stickers on it.
So not much to go on but if anyone can shed any light on what my baby was and if I have any hope of requiring one I would be very greatful.....

I reckon from your description it could have been a Superfox.

I might be wrong though.

Anything MT Racing made then Nathan (MacMania) is your man

Oh guys something else I have just remembered.....
I also changed the saddle and seat post for a one piece thingy, I was black plastic/carbon if I remember right....... Any ideas what that would have been??

Don't think Rick's got any plans to shift it... he's just built it as a rider.

Start a thread in the wanted section mate. You never know someone may have one sat around doing nowt.

Yes it was a superfox, not that I know what the difference is, other than the obvious sticker 😂

originally the silverfox only had cromo forks and hi-ten frame, think the superfox was full cromo (or some manganese mixture) and maybe higher spec parts

this ad was in the first ever BMX mag I bought - BMX Action from May 83
I pawed over it for ages and ended up with a silverfox the same as the ad - best Christmas ever
