Some of you know (have seen) I've still got my Gen 1 black General Lee from 1997, still with original paint/decals. Well, thanks to a friend (cheers Si) I managed to pick up another with it's original orange paint and decals - 38th General Lee made n'all

I don't often pop up pics of my builds and as a rule they're all survivors, so bare with me - also excuse the rushed and shite pics as the missus had fooked off with the digi SLR so was limited to a phone camera.....and excuse the bike stands that I bought off Sen at MK as being a twat I realised I didn't have any (thanks again Sen).


My old black one I put back to how I first built it when I got it, took off the street/park bits and bobs I added in '98 (Profile SS cranks, Peregrine Phat Jacks, Pr1mo The Wall black walls and black '98 S&M Slam Bars) and popped it back to a lighter trails bike - although if I'm honest it should have red spray-bombed DX's and matching red Odi's on there (as was all the rage back then). The orange one I built up as well with ze trails in mind.

Early 90's race bikes are my thing but really liking them General Lee's. 
Would mind doing a late 90's build one day... a DK Legend perhaps.

Gorra couple of Legends/ProXLs - the General Lee basically is one with burlier tubing 

@Ben - the orange General's the one imho that defines 97/98 - go to a skate park back then and see about 10 of the buggers. I picked the black'n back then as Leigh Ramsdell and Adam Volk rode black'ns. Though it'd make me jump higher and be shitter at doing rails 

Truefact - that's actually the second black General I had - got me first one from Hot Wheels (lived a few doors down from em) from Pod the miserable barsteward, built it up, and went to put the brakes on only to find the AD-lugs were solid - no thread.....

Lovely bikes... I remember the Orange one when it came out... I was flirting with putting new school parts on my old Haro master at the time..... The days before ebay !

Yeah, but fookin piss funny to watch - also with the added bonus of the black leather jacket/denim jacket with no sleeves combo.
