Anyone heard from firebird steve lately ?
« on: July 19, 2014, 02:43 PM »
Just that ive ordered and paid for 2 x padsets 4 months ago  ??? (march 14th)

He messaged me last month  to say mine are the next ones he making , but not heard anything since.

Anyone else had to wait this long before,  Ive never ordered any before and wasn't aware how long they would take .

Should I be worried  :-\

No need to be worried - Steve is crazy busy and does the pads when he can so can take a while for them. Drop him a pm to see when yours will be ready. I got a set through 2 weeks ago from him and as always they are worth the wait  :daumenhoch:

Not at all, Steve is a top bloke and will get them to you as soon as he can. He has been very busy though this last year or so.

Unfortunately, he rarely come on  :radbmxsmilie:, so you may be better sending him a message on FB.

All I can say is, however long you wait, it will be worth it for the quality of the pads.  :daumenhoch:

Steve's one of the most genuine, honest, straight blokes I've ever met. He's mental busy with work, pads, family. For the quality he turns it will be well worth the wait :)

Got my pad-set a few weeks ago from him.
Had been waiting a similar amount of time to you.
I did contact him via the e-mail you've been given above.
Mine was a fairly simple job in terms of design and colours, so if you've gone for anything that requires more work, it may take a touch longer.
The work is first class though. :4_17_5:
