Ok so i picked up a set of new WHITE tuffs the other week,  the guy has only used them once but with BLACK brake pads.

Anyone know a quick easy way to remove this without marking up the wheels ?

Thanks in advance

you could try T cut or similar, but I reckon careful application of a razor blade is the easy way!!

Its a proper cynt of a job in all honesty, anyone that says 'a bit of brake rub but easily sorted' has never done it themselves. I hate it and has put me off buying old tuffs in the past

I used Boiling water and did a bit at a time, the hot water soffens the rubber left behind by the brakes and then used a razor for the stubbon bits.

Stanley knife blade and drag it towards you keeping it level. Boring job but easy enough. Then go over it all with a scotchbrite scrubby pad thing...

Bolt the wheel in the frame or fork, lay the blade in the rim and run the wheel away from the blade edge while pressing firmly.

You will get a near finish to the rim and it's not tedious this way either   :daumenhoch:
