Redline 401 chainring / spider
« on: June 28, 2014, 03:04 PM »
Hey guys. Just gone to fit a single pinch 401 and found that my sugino spider doesn't fit as the spindle section of the arm is a different level to the chainring mount if that makes sense?

There's a small lip on the chainring mount, so I'm guessing that a specific Redline chainring / spider fits onto this to level things out.

Anyone got any ideas? I've bought s sugino spider, bolts and chainring so may have to try and trade or replace.

Thanks

It will fit, have a look at the instructions...

You might need to get a Top Hat washer though if you have not already got one as you may need to use one...

alans used to stock them  :daumenhoch:
some times you need thin spacing washers aswell other wise the chain ring wil be out of true

Cheers, I've been lucky though and managed to get a nice Redline bubble font chainring which should be a perfect fit hopefully  :slayer:
