Headset Problem
« on: June 28, 2014, 12:31 PM »
Could anyone shere some wisdom on removing the compression bolt when the star-wotsit inside the fork is slipping?
I plan on swapping some parts around and this is holding things up. Not sure if I could flip the bike, remove the front wheel and bash at it from underneath, anybody ever tried that?

Done it, and broke the star bit in two during the violence and noise.
Just needed to check I was on the right track, really. Ta Bigfrawg.
