T1 Barcode Lambo style make over!
« on: June 15, 2014, 04:56 AM »
So I picked up a Barcode today... Its currently looking its had a fun & but hard life however I think its time we show the T1 a little love and TLC...

So, The make over....

I have two colour schemes in mind at the moment:

Frame - Battleship Grey
Forks, pedals, Stem & Bars - Piano Black
Headset and Rear Brake Calliper - Hi gloss red

or

Frame - Battleship Grey
Forks, pedals, Stem & Bars - Piano Black
Headset and Rear Brake Calliper - Hi gloss yellow

Planned parts list
Frame - As abobe
Fork - Pitchfork
Bars - Slam's or T1 Barcodes if i can find them... :-\
Stem - Redneck
Cranks - Profiles
Chain Ring - TNT
Headset - Mid-School Primo1 gorilla (if i can find one that is)
Seat - Im going to try and find a black seat with white diamond style stitching... something like the Lambo seat below. if not ill see if i can get something knocked up:

The remaining parts will gathered as I go and i'll see what comes up!...  Basically its should be pretty and :2gunsfiring_v1: proof

Here we go again! :)... (lambo not mine :( )

If you cant find a primo gorilla a good alternative would be an fsa pig headset. I bought one for my hearing aid beige barcode frame when i bought it early in the 2000's.. its still on it too

There's a gorilla bottom cup on ebay at the moment.
Have a look for Ed209's Subrosa DTT he had it shot blasted and clear coated. It looks grey.
Should look really cool when done. I think odyssey did a seat with a diamond stitched pattern.

I'm sure they did a grey version with yellow/gold stitching.
I have one of the black Aitken seats like in your pic.

Just did a google search I and it looks like they did a grey with red stitching version and a black denim with yellow stitching. But will probably hard to track one down.
