Display stand possibility?

Seen these at a great price on chain reaction cycles. Ideal as a portable stand for when you're on a ride out. I've ordered one to see if it's any good. Not sure if anyone has tried one before and can feedback. Saves leaning your precious bike against anything that might scratch [ Attachment: You are not allowed to view attachments ]

I can just see us bitd carrying something to support our bikes when we got off 'em  :D

Even kickstands were an instant no-no from the moment you could get on a bike.

Well this turned up.....and to be honest i wasnt expecting much!
But it really is quite a sturdy little stand, which is portable!!
That was my main need.
Im sure it will be the subject of more fun on here, but was better than i expected, i tried to knock it over in the garage etc. and was surprised how it coped. Was nice and tight on the crank arm, and planty of fine adjustments to get the bike to lean at a good angle.
I'll put some pics up if necessary.
Cheers :daumenhoch:
