heres my (as far as I know) survivor challenger that just needs pedals. I bought the frame and forks about 5 years ago and have slowly added and changed parts but its now at a stage where im happy with it (ish) having said that, im probably going to change the tyres and brake but after that I cant see me doing anything else to it... except maybe a 22.2 primo rod... but then thatll be it. anyway. I always loved challengers and that love stemmed from seeing one in a bike shop and then there was a mike griffin interview, he was a massive influence on my attitude towards bmx, that guy is a legend! anyway in this interview he was stood beside one of the oversize challengers in s&m blue with red prince alberts with a wrist brace on and smoking a fag and I thought that was just the coolest thing in the whole universe. at some point id like to build a replica but that will be a few years off. I even bought a set of international challenger decals years ago and put them on my homeless mack that I had..
. anyways thanks for looking. doug
heres the picture of mike griffin. absolute fookin legend!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers jaymz. The forks are original challengers and actually quite twisted but im goin to leave them like it i reckon. Bit of survivor legitimacy or something like that.

its a small world betty haha. yeah it was an ebay score and the forks do have a forward rake, they are also twisted but im not really that bothered. I might sort them out at some point in the future.
yeah I know what you mean ben, the rims are a bit of a bugger but I love the hubs. nice sexy large flange crupi jobbies. I might get some araya 7's as they would make tyre choice easier too because most of the tyres ive got wont go on the t1000's. we'll see. I would like to change the tyres so it will probably happen quite soon.
