tryin to fit them to my changa build are there different length axels as it wont go on the arms need to go on a certain amount to stop latteral movement but when they are on they are catching on the stays on both sides when i adjust them outwards with spacers they then dont fit snug enough making the arms loose is it me or is there as i said a slightly longer axel that will make it fit the changa
axel length is 130mm needs to be longer maybe 140 would do it?

think axel is wrong maybe someone knows its a tange stamped cv 170 cr-mo 83 -j

the 400 axle is a slightly larger diameter to normal square taper axles, so you will have problems finding a longer one if they actually exist. it took me about 6 months to find an axle for my 400s. you could use the spacers to stop the crank hitting the chainstays then use a coke tin to make some shims so the cranks will tighten onto the taper. this was my method i used before i found the correct axle and was using a generic square taper axle, it worked fine.

sounds like you have the wrong axle , do the cranks fit tight on the taper off the frame/
