GT cruiser frame and forks
« on: March 01, 2014, 10:14 PM »
A mate of mine has the following GT cruiser frame and forks , it doesn't appear to have a serial number on it  :-\   Where some of these unstamped ???

EDIT .... We have found the serial number ... rear dropout  1183**** November 83 im guessing ??

He has had it for quite a few years and was wondering how much it's worth as he might sell it .

I have tried to do a bit of reseach re unstamped GT's but they all seem to relate to the 20" bikes. I have seen the bike built up and it's a nice bit of kit  8)

Any info and a guide to it's value would be appreciated .

Thanks  :daumenhoch:

Cheers John  :daumenhoch:   I'd be interested in it myself but i bought a Skyway 24 a while back and i ain't letting the cruisers take over like the 20 inchers already have  :-[ ..... and i love my chrome Skyway 24 even if it is a new one .

Im seeing the lad later so i'll have a good look for a serial number .

That is fooking gorgeous, best thing I've seen for a long time 😍

I'd say £600+  wouldn't be out the ball park, especially if he is selling the chrome pads and cruiser bars with it

It is worth what a collector is willing to pay for it.
If your friend is going for the maximumprice tell him to put it on the bid site.

Nice frameset, there should be a 24 stamped in the dropout.
