Curtis Freestyler Survivor.
« on: January 18, 2014, 06:18 PM »
Just landed this 10 minutes ago.

Been stored in a garage since 2000.

It's a local bike and was bought from Ron's Cycles in Heywood. I used to frequent this shop BITD riding to it, buying something with my paper round money before riding onto Roch valley raiders track, having an hour on there and then riding home.......memories.  :)

Serial 10 84

What you think guys?

Steve

I'd be happy finding that.

There is one on my post round with curtis forks too but sprayed bombed black, owner won't sell, it was his as a kid and now his son rides it around, also on there is a Rickman freestyler and another freestyler in the same shed, both with Skyways. These two i could probably get if i was in to freestyle bikes  :-\

Nice score  :)
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

o.k,  well a restored white f&f went for £650 on egay!

I much prefer a survivor myself but would guess around £7-800?

Nice, did you find it in Heywood too.  ???
Didn't know Ron the Con sold anything as up market as this bitd. Shepherds used to sell the good stuff and Ron used to sell the crap stuff from what I remember. Mind you he's still there so he must be doing something right.

No this was in Didsbury.
I bought my ELINA flyte tech from Ron's and my copy skyway platform plus loads of grips, donuts, chainrings, powerdiscs etc.
It was way cheaper than Shepherds as I remember but yeah, not as up market.
