Because the one he sold was re-done. This thing is oozing Mid school with the parts and colours. I would have done exactly the same. How often do you see PMC hubs and rims for starters

They were a US bike parts manufacturer that only ran for a couple of years (93ish till 96?) that made proper nice parts - race stuff mainly - you'll have seen the seat clamps they did before Rob - they're the ones with a large hole either side of the clamp.

Didn't they make bearingless cranks as well?

Mind you once you had done it once you would pedal with bandy legs.

...I've already dismissed my own remark as the Technique hubs were more ( approx $160 ) but the PMC were a heady $140

... steep for 94.
