some Kool caps cover the whole plastic area near the hub but on mine you can see some of the plastic (where it should be metal) what can i put there to cover the plastic ? the others use adhesive metal strips is it possible to make my own (how?) or is there an alternative

thanks

you can either make a cap that fits around it or some foil tape - if it's the new alloy caps that you have bought

you could get some silver spray and paint the hub centres before you stick the caps on, with a good match, thats gonna look more`authentic' than sticking bits of tin on!

or buy my graphites with gold kaps already on, not an issue with graphs' because they are metal hub centres!!
