just like to intorduce myself say hi to everyone, I am Adam 41 years old. Since my son is becoming of balance bike age, Ive decided to get a BMX again. I started BMXing in gillingham kent back in the day, started off on Raleigh Burners, MT racing ( silver fox ) - then most of my years spent on a Gen1 Haro freestyler. I had my freestyler stolen from outside my house, and was just devestated. We had a skate park near us in Gillingham Kent, and I remember my entire evenings and weekends spent down there - paradise days - Sadly it has been filled in. It had a reservor, snake half pipe and blue bowl. Just reading peoples stories has got my juices flowing again, and am lookng for a Haro Freestyler gen 1. I have researched the re-issues and 30th anniversary F&F - but although they are nice I wont be satisfied until I'm sitting on a gen 1 freestyler. It doesnt matter what condition it is -as I will be riding it and thrashing it around - luckily some youngsters have built an awesome BMX track in the woods behind my house - complete with burms, table tops, and too many jumps too mention.
If anyone knows of anyone that is willing to part with a Gen 1 Haro freestler, pls get in contact, until then Im going to immerse myself reading about peoples rides, lovin it !
