i have an mxII and i just stripped the paint off it at the weekend ready to be redone

its sat in my dining room, bare chromoly.

thats a sweet build mate. what does it ride like? the frame seems very short.
I intend to ride mine (I dont build ornaments).

very impressed

oh I am in heaven... nice build, I restored a white/red MX11 last year as I had one when I was a kid.

Also got a blue Redline, possibly a MX111 or 600a (not sure which) to do to.

oh man that white redline is sweet, with the white tuffs.
my mxII is stripped to bare chromo. i was gonna spray it metallic blue (the colour it was in) but i may get it powdered white after seeing that.

whats the wheelbase on an MXII/III ? the toptube is a good 1.5 inches shorter than my ripper toptube, and that bike is small.

Thanks.  They are Oury grips.  Used them 25-30 years ago and are still available now and look almost as the original ones
