Dont normally do non bike parts but i got offered these and they make a nice set with the Miranda mags i got a while back.
Question is should i attempt to give them a bit of a clean up and repair the lining in one of them or leave well alone?

Pin the lining back, and then leave well alone.

No glue, nowt that can go wrong.

Does the lining stink? I've some I have to leave in the garage, stunk my toy room out!

stinky helmet

at the most you could try simple clear window spray only on the white parts, small areas, spray and rub lightly with a cloth, q-tips on the edges of the stars etc. Wouldn't risk touchig those stars and the other red stuff

Ok they came today and look great

The red fabric liner is in great condition but the soft foam underneath has perished and is beginning to granulate. The polystyrene liner is fine and i can remove the red fabric liner quite easily. Should i remove all the soft foam and replace it or just leave it alone? $:-\$
