Mobil blue grease. High performance multi purpose especially suited to wet applications according to what it says on the tube.

You know it's a great score Ant , there will be no shortage of admirers when you show up on this at the track  :smitten:  :smitten: :smitten:

Get it built  :D

Ha. I wasted 90mins on the freeagent brake today. Fitted new pads. No difference. Messed About with pad angles, cable, rim etc.
no joy.
I need the freeagent to race on until the Holmes is ready and am still undecided weather or not to keep it also.

Chain line has to come first with me then it's the equal gaps and the niceness of the chain less spin :2funny:

Here we go fella's it's been a busy day but inbetween the Holmes has been built. It's not been thrown together, it's ready to race a week tomorrow at Leeds, however, there are some changes I want to make before then.
The main 1 is to get a right way up stem rather than inverted. If I don't get one before Leeds, I do have a 15mm spacer I've turned to raise the bars, I'm just not happy with how it looks with the spacer in  :-\

Other small changes I need to make. Chain tensioners need changing for some black or polished ones.

Need to trim down me new linear cable.

Gonna swap out the tyres with 1.75 dirt monsters, supplied by Gish  :daumenhoch:

Sort out seat angle and height. Maybe  a new second hand primo rod on the way .

Possibly a polished pitbull 2. Tho not before Leeds.

Grips a presently renthal firm and grippy, not sure what to replace them with.

In two minds about the polished chainring. I can't imagine a black one will come up in a hurry.

Rode it to the co-op this morning. Apart from the bars being low, it felt nice.

As nice as the freeagent..........???????........time will tell :)
