Deffo a Scorpion style frame HOWEVER CyclePro also used these frames supplied by Sentinal Cycles who owned Scorpion and the toolset was supplied by Tange who also supplied Apollo and Malvern Star so there are many variations of these about.  Going by the headtube decal, the stem, lack of a coaster brakemy money wuld be on a CyclePro and not a Scorpion.

Also, Sam has Scorpion bars not the Schwinn.Wald style ones, my bad as I didn't look at the pic  :-

Just emailed what i hope is the same guy in the ad. He was atari's VP of sales at the time so hopefully he may be able to help with the build  :daumenhoch:

Wow the guy in the ad just got back to me ( from his boat in the med  8) ) and said he wouldn't know his arse from his elbow as to what the bike was  :LolLolLolLol:

He did say he could put me on to a man who may know so will keep you all posted  :daumenhoch:

Ok this build is gathering pace now, just got off the phone with the same guy from the ad ( a vice president of Atari at the time and later Namco)
We got talking about arcades and stuff and he knew well the black cat in Towyn, north Wales where i blew most of my holiday money

He thinks the bike probably belonged to one of the workers at Atari as most were keen sports types and he was one of the few who drove in  ;D

Anyway, top bloke and he is going to send an email to the people who may know the full story on the bike. Will keep you all posted
