A long shot I know but does anyone know where I can get hold of some Pro Class rim tape, I'm looking for the black/silver stylee stuff, cheers.

Other members have used Xmas Wrapping tape of the non sticky variety, apparently it works a treat as I am sure others will testify

Apparently mylar (sp?) is the stuff you want, and sign writers use it.

you can often find pukka mongoose tape on the bay
but any shiny metallic ribbon should do

I went to a local craft shop and bought ribbon, they have loads of different sizes, styles and colours. Just put some rim tape over that to protect the inner tube.

i used xmas ribbon on my ripper worked a treat,just make sure you pull it nice and tight,then stick with a strong tape carefully cut out valve hole with craft knife and fit new rubber rim strip,this holds it in correct position

The best thing to do is to get a hold of some old nasty rim strips that nobody wants and just lay this ribbon right on top! Works like a charm!
