Mongoose forks
« on: March 25, 2013, 07:14 PM »
Hey all,
Just a quick 1 for those in the know before I send my frame & forks to get re-chromed. I was looking at the forks that I got separately from an 84 Californian frame & they've got an angle to them & from what I remember they should be straight? They're not bent as in damaged just factory angled. Is this correct?? Any answer would be appreciated as I've new stickers & parts ready to build after chroming. Cheers. :daumenhoch:

The fork legs were slightly angled to the shaft part.

Might be wrong but im sure the forks that came on the mongoose 'grand prix's' had more of a rake on them . Could they possibly be some of them  ???

Bobafett's (John) the man to ask , he'll even tell you the guy's name who welded them  ;)
