Just got my latest project through the post today from the good ol' US of A!

It's mid 80's, made in America and full 4130! Missing the downtube decal but in good shape apart from that (oh, and the rear drop-out the delivery people bent from the US to here!).

I'll let you know what is is when I get more time to do a write up. In the mean time, start guessing (not a lot to go on, I admit)!  ;D

It's been a while since my last update but I got a little present through the post from Dan yestrerday!  :daumenhoch:

The parts turned out to be a right pain to strip and get the right colour for and in the end Dan painted them instead of powdering and the results, I think, are stunning!  :smitten:

Sorry, my phone pics and artificial light don't do any justice to the deep, rich colour of his amazing paintjob!

The colour's actually a really nice rich purple but looks more pink in these pics!

Now she's all ready to be built up! I've got a couple of bits on my wish list but I've got enough to get her rolling for now. When funds allow I'll get some lavender Comp ST's or similar and a set of white ACS Z Mags, then she'll be complete.  ;)

Don't know about white tyres though.  :-\ White mags and white tyres is a bit too white for me! I like clashing colours to stand out!  :LolLolLolLol:

My mind was really made up about getting lavender tyres after seeing this orange one on the museum.......

Cheers mate!  :daumenhoch:

They weren't sold over here as far as I'm aware, so no-ones heard of them. Even in the US, they probably weren't massive sellers!

It's a 1986 model and as soon as I can get this poxy crown race on the forks, I've have it built! :LolLolLolLol:

Finally got the fcuking crown race on the forks so I could start to build the bike up. Got as far as I could tonight. Wheels are next but I still have to clean the brake rub off them first.

You might also notice, the guy who I got the brake set-up off, gave me two left levers!  :idiot2:

Sorry the pics are crap again but I hope you like her so far............

They're the Wellgo ones. Virtually identical but half the price!  :daumenhoch:

It's a Dominator style seat by Velo that I picked up from the US eBay.  ;)

Thanks for the nice comments!   :)
