85 GT Performer - What Colour Scheme Do I Go For????
« on: February 14, 2013, 11:43 AM »
I'm just about to send my Performer F&F off to Dan for a nice yellow powder job.......

Now in my mind I'm sure yellow is the right color, but I'm having crisis on the other bit and bobs.  :uglystupid2:

I was going for Yellow & Black, but I keep coming back to the ad with Eddie sitting on a Yellow one, with white tuffs and blue bits.

Anybody got any views???

Cheers Chris

I did a yellow and black one and when it was finished I hated it.
I did a white and black one and it was a lot nicer.

At the end of the day it is your choice :daumenhoch:

You mean this one

The blue, green or pinkypurple world tours. Colour schemes and reallife setups were sometimes very uncoordinated and colourful on those frames. Much tastier than yellow and blue.

Nick, not too sure about the green, but love the red......

Dan the balance of your is awesome, because of the spokes wheels the black is not so over powering.

I prefer the yellow one with the white tuffs than an all yellow banana rep.however i'd be inclined to go with somwthing wild like the purple Dave suggested :daumenhoch:

Always had a hankering for the flying banana rep but it seemed to have been done to death, so as Nick said, I went for the blue and white.  Almost factory spec, but not quite.

A friend of mine has a yellow one with blue skyways and pads... Looks fookin cool!
My all time favourite is the candy apple red one with chrome forks and black tuffs .. Lovely stuff :4_17_5:
