What you racing at MK?
« on: July 22, 2006, 08:28 AM »
Okay, so MK is just around the corner and you've put yourself on the list to race...

But which bike are you going to use and why?   Will it be oldschool from the early days or a frame from the later 80s/90s...  20 or 24?

Bren ::)

I will be riding my 92 Amtrac. I have steadily worked my way through earlier old school qualifying bikes to find one big enough, but they posed too much of a risk to themselves and my good health. Because I ride a modern bike virtually all the time, the transition to a smaller, lighter bike lead me to crashing even more than I do normally. Plus I need to eek every amount of advantage I can to offset my bulk handicap. LOL

Russ, Sans Robo Amtrac will make your pro look tiny, they are real long, 21" front and 16 " sort of size rear, hence San liking it he's a big lad ;)

Now get your lass sorted out and get yourself to MK :D

T/A for me ( last time before I strip it to do another build) and a Robinson mini for Joe
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
 Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
 Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
 Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

Sort of related point - if anyone is wanting to get to MK from the north London area I may be able to give you lift (providing you're not looking to take more than a bike or two).

Can't make me mind up Bren so I'm taking them to the track Saturday morning and giving them a good thrash, the one that try's to kill me the least goes (the Hypers tried to do me over 3/3 times so far)

Nah it's got chicken Korma interia.

May be it's not the purple terror that's the problem then it could be a donor jinks (donors should not be in the general area of rinkydinks when they ride purple bikes?) just a thought.
