Why dont you offer to buy the frame, forks, bars, cranks etc and just leave the wheels out.....would make it smaller for them to pack  :daumenhoch:

I thought it was shipping to Oz that caused problems with box size's as they have strict max dimensions.

Didn't know of any problems from USA to UK

Doesnt seem to be a problem then for a complete.  Maybe its the seller that really doesnt want to send it over the water? Or doesnt know how to take it apart lol

There's size limits on box should be able to fit whole bike except wheels usually

As I said last night Olly, even colored tuffs wouldn't ship a complete to me because the price was ridiculous.  They had no probs with a F&F but said they had stopped shipping completes  :'(

I've had 6 or 7 completes sent in the past 12 months without any issues however they have all sent them in 2 boxes, the most I've ever spent is $110 in shipping.  The downside is you have to pay 2 handling fees at this end...

It's the yanks being lazy and not wanting to ship stuff over here, I've had around 20 completes shipped over and never had a problem.

As of Jan 1 this year the US post office has implemented a bunch of new shipping rates and standards. Last year I bought a few sets of bars from the US. Normally cost me about $18-$20 to get them posted to me priority. Just bought a set last week and was quoted $37!!! Nearly fell off my chair so got a quote myself and the cheapest I could find given the dimensions was $31.00.

Apparently FedEx is now cheaper then US postal if you are shipping things like F+F, completes etc so you may want to get them to quote.
