What is the serial?
The forks are early around 91/92/93 the frame is after 91 though.
The seat post looks as though it 22.2mm not the later 25.4 type.
However the frame does have a chainguard tab which if I remember right  wasnt on the early bashy sports.
I would guess at it being a 93.

Anyway post up the serial and we can let you know.  :daumenhoch:

Kh2k  means 92/93 model. The other numbers are your frame production number.  :daumenhoch:

Yes as the basher didn't come out until 96. And the shredder wasn't chrome.

You also have the correct fusion stem and kneesaver bars for it to be a sport.  :daumenhoch:

Thanks for all your help. Is there many of these about and is there any value to it? Not that it is for sale.

There are loads of bashy sports about.

The rarest being the gen 1 1990 with the aluminium bash plate and flat seat tube gusset plate.  Super rare to find in the uk as they never imported them. Me and Robbo found one of these for sale in the uk about 6 months ago but we passed on it as the seller fooked us around a bit.

The next one is the gen 2 1991. These come with the peg mounts in the frame and forks.  Your looking for £350ish for a used one of those.

Then you have the gen 3 92/93 which has the same forks as a 91. But not as desarable. I would say around £250-£275 for a frame and forks in reasonable nick.

After that you have the gen 4 94/95 the forks and frame got fatter during this period. 94 forks are different to 95 ones. The seat post also got bigger. From 22.2 to 25.4. I would put a f&f at £160-£190

Then you get the basher in 96. Which is the same as the 94/95 sport but built out of trimoly not full chromoly. Ie the main tubes are chromoly like the down tube. But the rest is standard steel. These are worth £100-£150
Loads of people try to blag them as sports so they still get a reasonable price.

thanks for all your help. So from what your saying mine is the gen 3? It does have some surface rust but is mainly original from other pics ive seen? So you reckon it would make about £250? I'm not looking to sell but want to work out if i had a good deal.
