i did, but the stem was slightly to big to fit inside the seat post

my method worked in the end, it was heaven when it made that 'creek' noise , like when you take a car wheel off

lube it up , drill it , crack it with a hammer a few times . stick a big screwy in the hole n twist it out . always works !

never had to . my method even worked on a dumped outside frame and the 2 bits had corroded together and holed the seat tube ! came out !

Had the same problem,welded a tapped boss to the end of the seatpost,then attached a big slide hammer,came out easy,cut the boss off,still had 15" of good seatpost,frame was untouched
