My latest now the cast is off.

Shorter scar is 3 inches, longer one is 5 inches. Permanent metalwork both sides of the ankle.

my latest battle scar its on my arse if you wonder what part is it on! i was practicing for my come back (i will be racing the nationals ) in 07 my seat fell off ,i hit the tabletop to fast could keep it down !the bike bucked at me ! i pushed back (get down) not knowing the seat had gone!!!!!!!! this is the result!

and yes it hurt

slammin sucks , when i am injured its not the injury its the boredom and feeling useless that sucks.plates in head and both ankles , dam thats heavy !

i have no pics but i slammed in november last year at bones and broke me ribs man that hurts .has taken till feb to be better but still feel some discomfort and pain wif i sit or move a bit the wrong way .funny thing is i fall off regular .well at least 3 or 4 times everytine i get on me ride but ive only hurt me self once .

ps big respect to dave .the idea of his slam makes me feel ill without it being me so to get over that and ride again

I don't have any pics but a couple of years ago I had a chain snap and hit the chainwheel with my shin. It took 5 1/4 inch chips out of the front of my shinbone and took off too much skin for stitches. I ended up having what looked like a piece of saran wrap around my leg for 6 weeks.

Myself and Etriedes went for a thrash at an old track a while back, which had been resurfaced with hardcore in places1 I Started doing big jumps

. fooked up the landing on a double , and landed on hardcore, face first slam, surgeons had to be fetched out of theatre to stitch my face , wide open under my nose right back up inside my nostril, plus smashed my chin open and had that stitched as a bonus

My partner was well chuffed with living with Quasimodo , no change there we all say

Mid 90's , Leigh-on-sea bowl, slipped off a toothpick, slid down the ramp, finger stuck between 2 sheets of metal surface while I went over the top.

Wrong diagnosis at Southend Hospital, 2 weeks later at Lewisham Hospital "We don't like operating on fingers, but can you come back this afternoon"

4 days in Hospital, metal pin through my finger for 3 months, and 6 months of physio....nice

360... looped out and slammed!!

This is my dislocated shoulder... worst pain i've ever experienced!!

Me being picked up off the floor at Corby... (the girls at corby were great, really looked after me!!)

high on morphene... heehee!!

in the ambulance...

my humerus was in my arm pit!!...

arriving at hospital...

sooo much pain...
