ET's neighbourhood
« on: October 14, 2012, 09:18 PM »
just arrived back from my holiday and whilst there i decided to take a little detour

i'm sure all you ET fans will recognise the locations   8)

many of the locations look very different after 30 years of vegetation growth

hope you enjoy  8)

7121 lonzo street

heading up to the lookout

definately on the right track

view onto elliots neighbourhood from the trail

trick or treating in granada circle

elliots brother being chased by the police killimore ave viking avenue

caterpiller at porter ridge park

the wife could not resist a go on the swings, the locals still call the park the "ET park"

me by the caterpiller

it was quite an epic cruise to find some of these locations

white oak drive  where the kids took off on the bmx's while being chased by the police was being resurfaced so was awkward to stop

more california bmx pics to follow once i've sorted through them

Daz

Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

Love those pics, well done!  :) Myself and my wife were in LA a few years ago, and we completely forgot to visit the area. The location is saved on my google earth places, so I must visit when i'm next in America. I love seeing/visiting film locations. We went to Santa Cruz, CA in 2009 (filming location for the lost boys)

We also drove through the Figueroa Street tunnels in LA (used in the opening scenes in Steven Spielberg's classic Duel). (pic from Wikipedia).
