Hey Ed, i'm all for making mods, its what we did bitd so why shouldnt we now. I have had a fair bit of stick on here for a few mod ideas i have voiced but i still did them ( and they worked  )

Getting your thread back on track, i think it would be worth getting a bashguard fabricated based on the one you have but with a rear end more suited to the frame. Whatever bracket you come up with is going to look untidy as the chainstay brace isn't square with the chainstays. I recon getting a custom bashguard fabricated wouldn't be that expensive and you could even adapt the mounting brackets to some form of neat clamp to save drilling the frame if that bothers you at all.

If it were me i would have the guard cradle the bb and have one clamp round the down tube and a pair of clamps round the chainstays

Ed, Is the hole in the bash guard threaded? The one under the chain stays. I'm guessing not.
I can think of a couple of options. One is to use an expanding type bolt that will fit in the hole. Metal plate on top of the chain stay with bolt passing through. Clamps chain stays.
Or if the current plate on the bash guard with the hole in is not wide enough. You could just carefully grind that plate off make a new one that is wider and sits on the chain stays. But get a nut welded onto the new plate before it gets welded back to the bash guard with the nut inside the bash guard and have a plate and bolt from on top of the chain stay.
Or if the current bash guard plate is wide enough get a nut welded over the hole and same set up as above.
I really hope that makes some kind of sense to you.

hopefully you can do it so you dont have to drill/modify the frame and bashguard as they are quite rare and you know as soon as you have finished it a riot will come up for sale

at the end of the day it will never be a riot but its your choice

Exhaust mounting brackets and clamps. Theres a wee thought, also, clamps for turbo boost pipes to intercoolers have to be well strong to hold mucho boost.
