Me & Bretty Have Been To Rhyl

So after watching Nick @ MK, me and Brett decided to have a little go on the track ourselves.

We went to the Chester track 1st, which was gash , but then we went to Rhyl and were pleasantly surprised.

It was a great day Rhyl is a great track not that I have been to many

Rhyl track is not for the feint hearted. It's quite large!
It was designed and built to be a new school national level track. To that end it is HUGE!
If you are old school at heart don't go.
If you want a technical track with lots of 'pumping' and 'manualing', crack on.
Don't get me wrong, it's an ACE facility. It has a closed tarmac circuit for road bikes too and  it should be getting a MTB skills course soon.
But if you want flat....(pedal)......doubles......berm......(pedal).....table top.....(pedal)......berm.....(pedal).... you'll be disappointed!

Looks very similar to hereford track which is ace. Although we had the holeshot made steeper and higher on ours

me too good looking track reckon a good day can be had there for sure.1 work of warning always wear gloves when riding track (they keep ya skin on when you fall off on the gravel ,but also they help with your grip when your hands get sweaty when ya riding hard
