thanks for the comments lads .i had never seen or heard of a raleigh shock i didnt know they did a twin top tube freestyler at all .
thanks for the pics Mad rock they will come in handy .wonder if DEl can sort the Decals ? . i am going to rebuild it in pink and white
as thats its og colour . keeping the rotor as it came with it .i really only have to find a seat /seat clamp /headset / grips /compleate crank set up/ tires /brakes and wheels .
i am looking forward to this .

as for the rules can i use parts that i have bought off here before the comp started ? or parts i already had
(just that i have a set of mags that may suit this here in my shed and a rear brake caliper )

You can use any parts you wish from whenever you got them the only rule is that you have to price parts you already have at current average market value.... unless you got them for free like your F/F.

Should be more than doable for 175 notes as you already have the frame, forks, bars, stem, seatpost and rotor... and all gratis  :4_17_5:

Lucky bugger  ;D

Seriously, if you ever do want to sell it please let me know, sounds daft i know but this model is my grail in the blue and yellow  :-[
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

Anyone know what year this Powerlite is as they can have it cheap  (In Southampton) don't want to post really.

It's part of the P range if that's any help with NOS forks.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.

My wheels turned up today  :)
I've done a spreadsheet of what everything is costing me and I've only got 35 quid to spend on:
Pedals,
Front brake,
Front brake lever,
Brake cable,
Chain,
And inner tubes  :'(
It looks like I'll be having to exchange sexual favours for parts  >:D

Well here she is as promised, the budget build off, budget trophy  :D

I have tried to build it in the spirit of the competition so the parts are low end and it only cost me a pound for the gold spray (which will probably peel off before christmas  ;D )

Good luck guys  :4_17_5:

Loving that trophy!  :daumenhoch:

Question for you, could we have a pound swap post in the market place (for sites supporters!) where parts can be exchanged for a quid plus postage for the build off.
Or is that being naughty and cooking the books?  ???

Sounds fine to me but the mods may think it a bit unnecessary. I guess a free wanted ad in the wanted section woud be just as successful  :-\
I know i have quite a few bits i would happily give away as would most i suspect  :daumenhoch:

Here are a few parts for swaps:
Cstar N900A rear brake. I think this came off a Haro Zippo. I got a set free with my Zippo frame & forks. I'm using the front for my build off bike.

Rear view if you need it?

Genuine Haro bars. Again I got them free with my Zippo Frame & Forks. They have been chopped down

This is what I need for my build:
White Brake cable. A rear one for a pots mod front brake,
White or pink Brake blocks. I would prefer Koolstop vans but any Skyway / Z-rim type will do. It's to top Acorn Mags,
Pedals, Ideally Odyssey shark bites as I've bought replacement cages but I missed out on the pedals on ebay  :(

What have you got for swaps??
You pay for the post for mine & I'll pay the post for yours  :daumenhoch:
