prototype 21" toptube Supergoose
« on: July 26, 2012, 06:22 PM »
This was made 81/82 judging by the frame design.
Wonder why this didn't make it past the prototype stage ???
Maybe it was too ahead of its time, wasn't really needed/suitable for tracks bitd ???
not sure about the geometry, but the downtube has been lengthened accordingly 8)
Would love to see a built up pic of this Badboy :smitten:

I was going to say Rooski, you've age'd alot in the last year  ???

and grown a few inch  >:D

Gusset looks very squished  :-\ and the downtube could do with nocking down 3/4 " where it meets the headtube  :-\

I much prefer a fatter Gusset   :D
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

Yup that's Danny Oakley with his 20.5" "longoose" shame it never went into production  :(

He also helped design the moosegoose - both concepts focused around the taller rider as Danny is a big guy !  ;D

The frame is actually a June 1979  :daumenhoch:

mongoositis - an expensive disease......
