Dirty Harry levers & V brakes
« on: June 25, 2006, 07:05 PM »

Hi,

Does anyone know if V brakes run ok with Dirty Harry levers?

My bars are huge and the time has come for my lever to enter the bend.

V brakes are way better than any U brakes ive tried so will want to hold on to them.

Thanks.

P.S

I will buy one from you if you have one spare.

I am doubting the Harry's will work. V-brakes need a specific type of lever with a bigger distance between the pivot and the cable end. You will probably find that the lever will hit the bars before it has adequately pulled the brakes against the rim.

As a thought you could probably bend your own lever so you could fit it on the bend.
