StolenBikeCo components arrived, condor frame arriving tomorrow, custom wheels from custom riders arriving day after tomorrow. Thanks to Winstanleys who initially said (when I was on the phone to them 21/2 weeks ago-calling to ask them to build some wheels) that the primo flangeless hubs I wanted werent available so I ordered flanged instead and paid up front for the wheels there and then (£334), then received an email from them last week saying "waiting on remix cassette" then changed this this week to "waiting for primo rims"...... I cancelled my order and asked for a refund, called custom riders who have built AND sent my wheels on the same day!! Whilst I was on the phone to them this morning they were even PHYSICALLY checking what hubs they had (they didnt have the primo hubs I originally ordered from winstanleys in stock so I ordered an alternative. At least custom riders were honest!!!) and were comparing the finish of front and rear. I selected green and was told the rear was a gloss anodised whereas the front was matt so I changed my kind to blue, which were a good match. THAT is quality control and professionalism in the extreme. AMAZING SHOP. Thanks to them. More goods ordered this evening from them......

I have ordered a Polaris EVA Bike Pod to get my bike throught the airport when I fly back to work in a week or two.

I also sanded/"Keyed" my black Ubrake adapter (that I got from DansComp) and gave it the first priming layer of white hammerite tonight.

(un)fortunately not. We've just built a 'loggia', it's nearly finished. (That's a lean-to to most folk.)

Still need to get some Goose forks delivered, anyone selling?

Not BMX, but a nice shiny new hardtail mountain bike....Cube ltd, been out for a few quick miles on it and already love the way it rides. Will be a damn good way to get some trail miles done and increase my rapidly declining fitness levels

Usual story, went into the shop to buy a cheapish bike and was immediately hypnotized by words like shimano, rock shox, formula, easton etc.

Ended up spending aproximately double my original budget...oh my mrs will be well happy with me today

Had a set of Fly Ruben pedals turn up yesterday off of the bay.

Cosmetically not great but they run so smoothly (much like myself) and are beautifully made, they retail at £90-100 new

They will be fine after a good clean up and some new pins.
