Here are the pics of the frame with its fresh coat of paint. Thanks to SBD for putting up with me being such a fussy customer!

Eventually he ordered in a special RAL code for me so we could get the colour dead right. Im really pleased with how it turned out.

Yea I think the colours are pretty much identical. Yours looks lovely.

To be honest I think both builds will be very similar when done.

im gonna change the stem from the hoffman to a redneck i just bought off tom
and maybe a set of slams instead of the primo's.
oh and the tyres for a set of V tracks im waiting to come through the post

im still undecided what seat to put on it yet.

Well in that case they going to look identical

Going on mine is a silver redneck, chrome slams, Primo V monster tyres, and a Primo Hemorrhoid seat. Pretty much standard kit for bikes of that era.

They are real pigs, but to be fair most late mid school bikes were. In fact I'd say the Bennett was probably better then most bikes of the time.

This arrived from the printers so looking forward to getting this stickered up. Got a few builds on the go now so unfortunately this one is at the back of the line.

Finally back on the Bennett build and making a little progress...

Textured Primo Hemroid seat, Primo Rod post, and Primo Viking clamp.

Got the down tube decal on the frame but still need to draw up the missing ones.

Headset, stem, and fork are all installed but the compression bolt and washer are pretty ugly. I dont suppose anyone on here has a tidier set they would like to sell?

I will try get a bit more done over the weekend as I almost have everything needed to finish this now.

Looking good that is.mines rough as hell compared to your ones lol,but i quite like the ride.I put a redneck on,S&M medium lt bars,new ODI's,new saddle coming and maybe get some decals and that will be it,ready to thrash

Looks good Gary. Some folks dont like the way these ride but I really enjoyed mine BITD. Mine wont see much action once complete, but they are tough as nails so great bikes to ride in my opinion.
