gt profiles do come up ,for reasonable prices (£60-£70) most need a rechrome which can be done at a later date for a cost of around £30

as for the chainrings ive not seen any for sale for awhile and ive just used my 5th and final one

Thanks to GTNUMBER1 it looks like the final pieces of the puzzle are coming together. I will hopefully be able to get this build wrapped up in the next few weeks.

Few more bits arrived for the bike. Firstly a set of NOS 2.1 freestyle tyres. Side walls on these are a bit dark but beggars cant be choosers.

Also got some NOS GT pegs. Only problem with these is that they are 24tpi and not 26tpi like the hubs. Im going to have to send them off to get helicoiled to the correct tpi. I dont suppose anyone knows a place I can get that done?

FINALLY!!!! These arrived today.... Spokes are ordered so the build should be complete in the not too distant future.

Managed to get quite a bit done on the GT today. Laced up the wheels and fitted them, got all the brakes set up, fitted the chain, and pretty much got it all finished up. All I need to do now is get the pegs tapped to 26tpi and its done.

Well the PFT is finally finished and I managed to shoot some pics of it yesterday. After building this Im definitely not in a rush to do another mid school OEM build.

Finding mid school OE parts for this was a nightmare! If you think finding a tidy set of super pros is hard you should try find a set of these GT 48's... they were nearly the end of me! haha. Im really please with how its turned out though. Thanks to everyone on here who helped me track down parts, you know who you are.

The camera is just an old Nikon D70 with stock lens. I must have had it for close on 10 years now and it just keeps on going.

Thanks guys. Im not in a rush to make any changes now, but if a set of 175 GT profiles turn up I'll be upgrading those and the sprocket to get it as close to team spec as possible.

Can you please send me a copy of your GT PFT decals so I can have them reproduced by a local business in choice colors?I looked in the BMXMUSEUM Reference Section but those are not crisp or technically flat. I would really appreciate it as I too am rebuilding the exact bike.I have spent months trying to locate these and the local place can't seem to get them right.
