me.

dont get it on any part of you. dont breath the fumes. dont itch when you inevitably get a bit on you. run it under water.

dont leave it in to long. 10-15 seconds max. keep an eye on it at all times.

have somthing ready to take it out with.

oven pride...oven cleaner, available at tescos is a much safer/cleaner way to remove your anno....its not caustic so wont melt your alloy gems but is harsh enough to remove hard anno.
£6 a bottle which is enough to do prob 4 set of pedals.

doesnt even really burn your skin.....top stuff

Dave
haro, how do you do

Nice job!

Thats incredible.

I was wondering, do you reckon caustic soda could clean up rusty parts and oxidised alloy bits?

if you use caustic soda use bits of wire round the parts then you can lift them in and out to check them , they may go black but this will polish off with autosol they only need to be in fo a few seconds also have a bucket of cold water handy to dunk them in cause they get hot and also you can use it to rinse your hands if you get some on you , wear goggles and rubber gauntlets and thick clothing and do it outside
