A new school bike weighs about 12Kg , reckon the tuffs might make it a bit heavier

If its for a courier they usually have a max weight of 20 - 25 kg, just put something below that....

what courier are you trying to use ?

it's size that you need to work on if in a box

like Lee said it up to about 25kg

burner is about 15-18 and couriers have no prob picking them up

http://www.p4d.co.uk/p4d/home.php

you want the box to be around 120x22x65 - cutting down the top of the box - taking the bars off and putting down the the side and front wheel off - pedals off and all will go in a Halfords MTB box sweet

is there any one near to pick it up and pack it for you that is on here, near the sellers place ?
