Some good hubs and rims?

I'd like to build an old school custom wheelset, nearly got some campag record but outbid in the last second so what are some nice hubs and some nice rims?

Think outside the box with hubs, you can use any kind of 36h hub from bitd, such as racing bike or track hubs.  You will have to convert the axles from Q/R to solid (track) axle.

Look for names such as Normandy, Maillard, Sansin or Sunshine, Resilion, Sturmey Archer, Airlite etc etc.

I love hubs, they are my favourite part of a build.

Exactly as Sean says, also try some early Schwinn's. I think I might have a spare front Campy record hub
