I've found a standard trail boss looks like a 97-98 model in olive green it has really ruff paint well what left of it lol ,and only 1 small dent on back end, really chuffed to have this because I use to ride 1 back in 98-99 I've got some standard forks kicking around some where so a build might be needed!

Have the dropouts been hacked out to 14mm?

The one i mentioned up there has been rawed...

I'm sure the one i've seen has 10mm drops

The first pic you've posted the end of the dropout slot doesn't look rounded

they have defo been hacked i remember now i had super pros on mine then i had a 10mm g sport hub so yes theyve been hacked, thats a shame but still ok i suppose! just run a 14mm wheel on rear lol

Nearly forgot - the serial number on the BB will tell ya the year and month the frame was made

That would make it the 18th frame made in June 2000 - so G=month, 10=2000

Pretty sure that is a TRLS250 isnt it? does it have the machined headtube? or slightly ovaled toptube where is meets seat tube? both of these are giveaways. also as dannywhac said iI am pretty sure it is a 2000 by which point they had changed the name...

Still could be a TB, you could still get some in 2001, but think they were special order? You're right it's more likely a Trls

It's ovaled at seat tube ithink it is a tb it's the same as the 1 the one I had bk in 98-99

I did not know this, nice one for the info! Would you agree with the ovaled TT & machined headtube being indication of it being a TRLS? Pretty sure that is what I was advised by the nice folk at SBC when I enquired about one of my TRLS....
