One time Lynn Kastan who used to own Redline and then Kastan called for a set of bars and I asked him to pay for them. We sent the bars COD Cash Only and when the UPS driver dropped them off he paid cash for them (and he was known for never paying with cash). When he eventually opened the box he found some bars we took off a girls three speed bike. Another time we drove the van over some Slam Bars we sent to Iron Horse to take out all the sweep. Nowadays companies just buy their Slams at shops like everyone else."

fooking brilliant. Alex, do you have anywhere the footage of Moeller on a real early 90s tv show in America about young businessmen seting up companies? Moeller has some stubble, and when asked by the serious host " do you have any worries about seing up a company" he says " yeah, I worry about where my neck hair and chest hair meet... when do I stop shaving?"
then he proceed so t hurl cushions of the sofa into the audience to the whoops and hollers of fellow bmx'ers in the studio audience. Fook it, I may do this on my next ITV This Morning appearance!

That was in the S&M Video 44-something and it was clips from the Jane Pratt show.  

The show was all about young people starting companies. Moeller tried to get a fake fight going with the dude who started Sub-Pop records but he wasnt keen
