What are the best pads for Skyway Tuffs?

if you loking for best stopping power - then a set of new school pads - don't look right but get the job done right

yeah stopping power! odyssey clear pads or something? what about the pads that skyway makes?

The older new type skyway pads are really good , but hard to find.

If you are riding it new clear pads.almost any brand will do.they will usually squeak a bit after bedding it but its the price you pay for good stopping power.

The old Vans type Kool stop pads work well, but they do wear down quickly.  depends if your 16.5 stone like myself or featherweight 12 stone (ish)

Well i was 13st 12lbs, but been working out and dieting for about a year non stop now, and got myself down to about 11stone ish now.

normal Tuff pads should be fine for you    but not those new ones they pedal on the bay, they're shyte!

I've got clear new school clear pads on mine. Work so much better than tuff pads. They squeaked a lot when I first used them but they're not tot bad now.

Agreed, I fitted some to my Performer for Radchester, and spent the next day cleaning bits of rubber from my frameset.

Took me almost a year to get to that from 13st12lbs. My face was looking a bit chubby so I sorted it out. I was 22% bodyfat and 40% body muscle, got the fat to 14.5% and the muscle to 44%. It's getting hard to now lose more fat whilst gaining muscle at the same time!

Looks like a good option, think I'd go for the clear/blue as they are going on an 09 freestyler, cheers
