1991 Haro Master finished at last
« on: January 06, 2012, 03:06 PM »
As I'm in the mood for photos, here is my 91 Master finally finished (well, 99% anyway)

Got the F&F a while ago now (cheers Lee), and built with riding rather than catalogue correctness in mind

Parts list as follows:

1991 Haro Master frame & forks
Haro Kneesaver bars
Primo rims laced to Oddy Pro hubs
Twin pinch flites
Fusion pedals
Fusion stem
Fusion disc
ACS Boa calipers / Tech 77 levers
Xposure Chas n Dave tyres
Haro grips
Haro seat & post
Fusion clamp

Oddy gyro

Looks great, but I have to ask. Why not use the AD990 mounts on the rear end instead of a caliber brake?

I did originally mate, but was unhappy on how it was working (maybe the cables needed lubing).  Still got an AD990 so might swap back and try to get the thing working properly  :daumenhoch:

nice bike :smitten:   im also wondering about the ad990 mounts.  a u brake will work much better once its dialled in correctly.  you just need to lube up every part of the gyro cables in wd40.  and grease the brake posts.  tension up the ad990 springs then your away. :daumenhoch:

I think the cable will look alright if you put them both under the cross bar. That's how I have always fitted them.  :daumenhoch:
