Do you guys think the Fork is chrome under the paint??  Maybe I could strip the fork and leave the frame??

The fork is probably well preserved super shiny nickel!!
Could be very nice looking!

I have had a chat to the previous owner in a bit of detail now via PM's and it appears that the frame and fork will most probably be Nickel under the paint work as previously mentioned by Rad Rat  

If it is, then I will most probably like to get it stripped, polished and then candy blue over the top again to keep it protected for at least another 32 years  

Would and does SBD do this or does he just do powder?
