i looked at those during auction at first glance they looked like bottema

im no expert on these forks but im dubious thats why didnt bid

couldve been wrong but dont look like the bottemas i want

I also clocked them thinking they look like Bottemas. But they don't extend far enough. Not Bottemas.

I was researching them the whole time the auction ran - I've seen a lot of snide Bottemas, and these simply don't match any of the original forks. Really not convinced they're genuine.

In that second pic the end is black as though from heat.
Could the tubes have been cut down and sealed.
Don't know why any one would do that but it just looks like a result of heat to me?

They're mine, the blackened ends are just poor photography. They are chrome but they've had a paint job over the top which has been partially stripped and left a greenish residue. Weld quality is excellent.
