The black chrome on a Pro Class was actually a tinted lacquer applied over chrome.  Real black chrome is difficult to get done these days due to the chemicals it produces.

I replicated it on a Pro Class I owned, I went to a local car paint supplier and found a light black tinted lacquer that had a bit of brown in it as that is what the Pro Class had.

Mark "FHMreader" (he's on here occaisionally but is mainly on Burnerworld) did both of mine but they were already chrome when I sent them to him. As Sean said, it's a tinted laquer but the colour has to have a tint of brown in it for a Pro-Class.

If I get a chance I'll put a pic up, but it's in the "me & my bikes" thread if you want a look and was stunning in the sunlight :daumenhoch:

This is the black chrome look that I recreated on my Pro-class

On this picture you can see the brown tinge to the lacquer (to the left of the brake caliper)
