Having split the last 6 of these that I had (each netting between £1000 - £1200 each) - I thought I would do the BMX BMX BMX - keeping it BMX with general borderline gay group hugs in a BMX rubber dub styleeeeee....and try and sell the rest of it complete

Its not all about the money you see

£600 posted gets you this wonderful example (minus the chain guard).

Obviously bars are not original, nor is the seat but apart from that - its all there (apart from the reflectors and Custom M pedals)....all easy cosmetic changes :wink:

Sorry bud, re-read that and realise you were quoting someones post.  I thought it was a bit strange someone trying to sell Burners on here when there are dedicated sites 

And yes, stupidly, massively overpriced.  Don't think my TA would fetch a grand and its ten times better.....

So? ..........the bits that are missing to make the bike as it was bitd? how much more on top of the asking price would it cost? any idea? looks to me that bars,grips,tyres,pedals,seat and the missing chain guard which alone I've seen fetch £50+

I agree, my dad got a tap frame,forks,stem, tange headset, cranks, chainwheel and the chianguard, and the pedals, for... 100 quid. Oh well he will soon realise what he actually has then he will have to put it lower, I say nobody buys them and then when he eventually puts them really cheap we buy them.

Sounds like he thinks anyone into the 'hobby' is a bit of a mug or, to use his words, borderline gay.  Treating your potential customers with contempt doesn't seem the best way to drum up sales IMO.
