hi guys

I am trying to fit a 3 peice crank to my firebird however having a problem, It keep coming loose and was told by a fella cant remember hes name as i meet so many wonderfull people at MK11 that the crank was fitted the wrong way round as the lock nuts need to be on the non chainring side as to not loosen themselves however when i turned the crank around and screwed the bearing cone against the stop on the spindle and fitted the sugino arm over the protruding spindle arm the crank arm would hit the back frame when i turn the crank on the chainring side.

can any body help

i tried to load photos but could not manage it
